She ...................... (go) to the kitchen. The house ....................... (be) very quiet. She ....................... (drink) some milk and ....................... (eat) some bread. Then she ................ (sit) in the living room and ...................... (read) her favourite book.
At half past eleven Debbie´s parents ........................... (come) back home. Debbie´s mum ....................... (give) her kiss and a present and they ...................... (sing) "Happy birthday". That afternoon they ......................... (have) a surprise party for Debbie and all her friends. Best of all, Gran was better and Debbie´s dad ..................... (bring) her home again.
